Tabletop Games (board, card & RPG) are fun activities for family and friends to get together and enjoy each others’ company. However, they can also be leveraged in the classroom to practice important social skills and reinforce content area knowledge. This workshop will discuss the researched positives to using games in the classroom. Participants will then demo a number of games (physical and digital) that practice skills in teamwork, mathematics, reading and critical thinking. Everyone will leave with their own copy of one of the games discussed.
